Seat Belt Sherriff and Hi-Glo Silver

Things to make you think
Recent statistics have shown that within the period 1996-2012, 73 children under 16 were killed in crashes when they were not in a car seat or wearing a safety belt. Collisions can happen at any time, so it’s essential to buckle up no matter how short the journey.Remember, accidents can happen at any time. So always buckle up – even on short journeys. And always be seen.

Every weekday in Ireland, at least 119,000 primary school children walk to school. To keep them safe, it’s important that they know how to be seen on our roads and streets. Wearing bright clothing and crossing at a safe place are the best ways to do this.

So, keep helping us reduce the number of deaths and injuries on the roads – together we can do it.
