The beautiful town of Newmarket in located in north Cork. Newmarket was originally called Áth Trasna meaning a ford or a river crossing.

Some of local landmarks include the O’ Keeffe Institute ( Convent ) and the Island wood. The Convent is now used by many small businesses and is a stand out feature as you enter the town. The Island wood has many scenic walks and watch out for the twelve Apostles tree! There are many eating out options to suit all tastes, such as our many activities available from our local park, tennis court and our newly developed Astro-Turf. There is a selection of accommodation to suit all needs, these can be found on our website

Come visit our town for a great experience. A trip that you will cherish forever.
