Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to voice my concern about I.R.D. Duhallow being taken over by Cork County Council.
I.R.D. Duhallow have created many jobs in the local area. Raymond O’Sullivan came to our school on behalf of I.R.D. Duhallow to teach about life in the olden days and included information on cutting turf using a box iron and milking by hand. They brought our class to a local river and taught us about the life and habitat of the river. They also run a very helpful after school homework club. They run an extremely cheap insulation service. They have done countless favours for the school and the community. I believe that I.R.D. Duhallow are doing a great job as it is and a much better job than the council could. For this reason I believe that I.R.D. Duhallow should be left as they are.
I hope you take my concerns seriously and I am looking forward to your reply.
Yours sincerely,
Darragh Lynn, 5th Class
