My family and I went to Spain on the 6^th of  September. We flew from Cork to Reus airport .We were all very excited. We arrived in Salou on Friday evening. We checked into our apartment.

We went shopping after we walked around to look at the area. There was a huge pool and the weather was really hot. The following day we went to the pool for the day.  My Dad and I went down to the bar to play  bingo and a quiz after.

During our holidays we went to the Nou Camp in Barcelona and the Aquapolis water park . On the last day. I went on a peddle boat with my Dad. It was a great holiday I would love to go again.

My mom my cousin Emma her mom Kristen and I went on the 28th of September to watch the All Ireland hurling final.

We left at half past nine and met Emma and Kristen at her house at ten o clock. My mom drove up to the game. It took us 5 hours to get there We had a McDonalds I had a happy meal and a caramel sundae.

We bought a ticket which cost me 50 euro. Once we arrived there I bought a program then I got into my seat in section 317 seat 16 row nn in the Davin stand.

The game started at five o clock. The first half Clare scored three nine to Corks one eleven. The second half Cork played better but they still lost and the final score was Clare five sixteen to Corks three sixteen.

We left and started to walk to the car once we got in we started to drive and we had to stop for some diesel it took us three hours to get home. I thought it was a great day

My Mom, Step Dad & I went o n a Tour of the Camp Nou Stadium in Barcelona while we were on Holidays in the Mediterranean. We arrived in Barcelona on Monday the 16^th of September and we were on the Tour Bus by 11o’clock that day. I was very excited to see the stadium as I am a fan of Neymar Jr that wares the no. 11 jersey.

We arrived around 12 noon where our tour guide Frank gave us tickets to enter the stadium. The first room was the museum where I saw Lionel Messi  gold boots and all the champion league cups that the team has won. The next stop was the dressing rooms where we saw the cooler plunge bath and the message tables for after the games. The next stop was the media room where all the news journalists interview the players after the games, I thought the room was very small but cool.

The next part of the tour was the pitch and seating arena. I thought the pitch would be bigger but the seating arena was massive. I think Frank said it can hold 87,000 people. The next part of my tour was the commentary glass boxes on the 8^th floor; it was so high up it was cool. After our tour we went to the official Barcelona FC shop where I bought a Neymar Jr Jersey and a Barcelona FC biro.

I really loved the city of Barcelona and I hope to return and stay in the future.

My Mom, Dad and I went to Spain in July for a vacation. It was our family time together and my Mom and Dad needed a rest. My Aunt and cousin wanted to come too so we said come along with us. We decided to go for a week from Sunday 28^th July to Sunday 4^th August. My Mom booked the holiday so we could fly from Cork Airport to Malaga Airport and she booked a hotel in Costa del Sol. We were all excited about going and my Mom was great as she did all the planning and packing.

We had to leave our house at four o’clock in the morning to get to Cork Airport on time for our flight which was at half past seven. After checking in our bags we went for a lovely breakfast and did some shopping in the duty free shop. We boarded our flight with Arkefly with delight. The journey took three hours. I read a book and played games until we landed in Malaga Airport.

We got our bags when we got off the plane and headed on a bus to our hotel which was called The Polynesia Hotel in Benalmadena. We reached the hotel in half an hour and checked in at reception. The hotel was fabulous with a turtle pond near reception to welcome us. There were birds and fish in the hotel as well. It was amazing to see the glass elevators up and down. We all couldn’t wait to get into our rooms to get our swimming gear and head to the pool.
It was lovely and sunny. My first thing I did was to jump into the pool.  There were lots of different things to do every day in the pool such as Zumba dancing and bridge walking. I made two friends James and Brody who were from England. I met up with them lots of days and we had great fun in the pool playing with a ball. My cousin Orla and I loved splashing our parents when they were not looking. The food was delicious and it was the same as the food at home.
We all loved going to the water park which was down the road. I loved going down the slide sitting in a ring. There was a pirate ship with a slide and when I used it I splashed down into the pool. We all loved using the Jacuzzi beds. There were many huge pretend elephants with water spraying out of their trunks.   When it was time to leave the park we got an open top bus back to the hotel.
In the evening time my dad, my cousin Orla and I used to play crazy golf at the side of the hotel. We used to have a competition and I always won! We used to meet up with my Mom and Aunt Sinead at the bar when we were finished. There used to be a band or show every night to entertain us. If I got bored I went off into the games room and had loads of fun playing games and bowling in the bowling alley. My dad was not too happy as I spent all his money on games but I had a great time

I had an amazing week in Spain with my family. None of us wanted to come home after spending a week soaking up the sun, relaxing and having fun. We had to pack on the Saturday night to be ready for our big journey home again. We were collected at the hotel Sunday morning to get to Malaga airport which took half an hour. We got there in time for our flight home to Cork. It only took two and a half hours to fly home. We all arrived home safe and sound. There was so much to do I can’t wait to go back to Spain. Hopefully next year!

My family and I went on holidays to Spain in July.An airplane took us there, and then went on a mini bus to our hotel.

I went to the pool every day. I played with mom, dad, brother and cousins. It was fun.I went to a wedding and had my favourite food and I danced and stayed up late.

We came home on a Monday. We took the airplane home .

I had a great time.
