An Madra

La amhain í dtús an fhomhair chuaigh mé go dtí an ollmhargadh.

Chuaigh mé go dtí an siopa in éineacht le mo chara. Nuair a bhí mé ag súil rith madra fiochmhar amach, rith mé ar nós na goaithe. Tar éis tamaill bhí mé tuirseach traochta. Chas mé timpeall agus bhí ionadh an domhain orm mar bhí an madra os comhair liom. Lig mé béic asam agus rith an madra abhaile. Bhí áthas an domhain orm nuair a bhí an madra imithe.

Ní dhéanfaidh mé dearmad ar an lá sin go deo na ndeor.

an Siopa

Lá bréa brothallach a bhí ann. Bhí mo chairde in éineacht liom. Chuaigh mé go dtí an pháirc.
Tar éis tamaill, bhí mé tuirseach traochta agus chuaigh mé go dtí an siopa. Go tobann, is beag nach bhfuair mé bás nuair a chonaic mé an ghadaí ag rith isteach sa siopa. Bhí sé fíochmhar agus rith sé i dtreo liom agus rith mé ar nós na gaoithe. Chuir mé fíos ar na gardaí agus chuaigh an gadaí go dtí an phríosún.
Ní dheanfaidh mé dearmad ar an lá sin go deo na deor.

All Ireland Hurling Final 2013

Dad and I went to the All-Ireland Hurling Final between Cork and Clare. We left for Dublin on Saturday 7th Sept for the final, which was on the next day. We went to support Cork because we were born there.

On the Saturday, we left at 3pm and didn’t arrive till 730pm as the journey took four and half hours. On the way I played with my wrestling figures and watched dvd’s, so the journey didn’t seem too long for me as it was fun! When we arrived in Dublin we went to our hotel we had a great big room and I loved it at the hotel.

The following day, I woke early with excitement for the big match. We left the Hotel at 11am and went on the luas into town, we met my uncle Donncha he was going to the match too. We all walked together to Croke park it was very exciting all I could see was red and white jerseys everywhere.  When we reached the stadium we took photos and were so happy to be there as it was our first time. We were in the Nally Stand.

The match was unreal I just loved it, I was so excited when cork scored and sad when Clare did. Cork were behind for ages until late in the second half. Then they really started playing and we were up a point at the end it was so exciting. We were waiting for the ref to blow the whistle and then Clare scored a point. We couldn’t believe it was a draw we were so close to winning but we had a great day.

We had to go again see Cork play, dad and I took off again hoping Cork would win. This time we went the limerick way because the last way was too long. This time we are going to drive home after the match. We stopped to get diesel and I got a WWE magazine it had all my favourite wrestlers in it. We got our tickets in Dublin this time we were in the Davin stand I was getting really excited now. The luas broke down so we had to run to Croke park. This time we had seats inside it was really cool.

The match started at 5 o’clock, I found a lucky penny in the stand I was sure Cork was going to win today, but when Clare  scored a goal I threw it away! Then Cork came back and the score was level we were so excited but it was Clare’s day but I know Cork will get there again and win the All Ireland.

My Trip To Anfield

This summer my family and I went on holiday to England to visit family ,while we were in England  we went to an old coal mine and went down the mine to see what it was like long ago. We also went to an old war camp and on the way back we went to corn maze. The next day we went to Anfield.

I thought that it was the best part of the week .When we got to Anfield we went on a tour around the grounds, dressing rooms and we got to sit in the manager’s seat. I got to walk out under the famous ‘This is Anfield ‘sign. After the tour I had my photo taken in the museum next to the European cup. Then we went to get some food and on the way out I bought a football in the Liverpool gift shop. After this we went home.

This was one of my favourite holidays.
